Clearing up Wimbledon’s railway land

“Wimbledon’s Liberal Democrats are launching a campaign to clean up local railway embankments, bridges and stations.

Land owned by railway companies often becomes a magnet for litter and graffiti. We want to raise awareness of what residents can do to improve their local environment.

This area is crossed with rail and tram tracks, and four stations are close by – Raynes Park, Wimbledon, Wimbledon Chase and Dundonald Road Tram Stop. The state of these places affects many people.”
