Wimbledon Park ticket office

The Liberal Democrat team in Wimbledon Park are fighting to save the tube ticket office from closure. London’s Mayor has announced that the ticket office at Wimbledon Park Station is to have its opening hours slashed by a massive 26 hours a week.

Wimbledon Park resident Edward Doran said, “When elected, Boris Johnson promised local people that he would protect ticket offices. He must honour that pledge.”

Cuts to the opening hours of the ticket office  are most likely to affect those who need the assistance of ticket office staff – such as people with disabilities and the elderly.
